"Al and Willie as "Lewis and Clark" were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years. Now they aren't even speaking. When CBS requests them for a "History of Comedy" retrospective, a grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries and laughs."

"The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by Potiphar where thwarting advances from Potiphar's wife lands him in jail. When news of Joseph's gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command. Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize. After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless."

Welcome to Our Season!

Many shows are open to all for auditions! Consider our season and join in the fun!

At ZTP, Auditions are easy! We ask that you fill out an audition sheet. We ask for things like your contact information, the part you are interested in, what days/evenings are occupied on your schedule and your theatrical history. Don't worry if this is your first time on stage - we welcome beginners!

We also stress the importance of attending rehearsals. In a production environment, it all boils down to team work. The coordination of lines and movement, sound affects and lighting, stage crew and staff - everyone works together during a show. When you are not there - it affects everyone. We do our best to work with everyone's schedule. Being part of a show is a commitment, one we take seriously. Please don't audition if your schedule won't allow you to be at the majority of rehearsals.

Auditions also offers you a chance to get a feel for the directors and their crew as well as the theater. Each director has their own style and energy. Each director at ZTP has a desire to bring a story to life. And each director does their best to create an environment where everyone can thrive. We work hard and play harder!

Our audition process is informal and fun, really. In general, we ask that all auditioners go to the stage and, in turn tell, us a little bit about yourself and your interest in the theater or the show. We then pick a set of pages from the script and choose folks to read for each character. We'll then read those pages. We will do this several times inserting different people. Then we'll try a new set of pages and begin again. This process gives the auditioners a chance to learn more about the characters and the story as well as offers the director a chance to learn more about you, your potential and chemistry with other actors or actresses.

In all auditions - our best advice is READ LIKE YOU WANT THE PART. Go for it!

Please also realize - in most shows, we simply can't include everyone - even though we might want to. Our directors know what it takes to audition and we respect the effort and the emotional ties connected to the whole auditioning process. As directors, we do our best to cast those we feel will most meet our 'Directing Vision'. If you do not get cast, don't let that discourage you. Our season offers something for everyone and your opportunity awaits!

As with all shows, behind the scenes help is always welcomed - stage managing, set construction, set painting and decorating, advertising, serving as an usher...if you are interested, please jot it down on your audition sheet!

Welcome to Zane Trace Players!
